Skye is a large and varied island known mostly for the magnificent Black Cuillins - the finest mountain range in the British Isles.

One of the problems in visiting Skye is finding the right weather - you are more than likely to need an umbrella! The photographs here were mostly taken on a fine November day sandwiched between days of heavy rain, and even then they were taken between showers! Even in the bad weather the Isle of Skye ia a joy but when it is fine, it's simply stunning!
