The Lleyn Peninsula

The Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales is a narrow piece of land stretching out into the ocean just to the west of the Snowdonia National Park. Less than 8 miles across at the widest, there are superb beaches on both sides of the peninsula and much of the coast is under the care of the National Trust. Whilst many of the beaches attract a wide variety of water sports enthusiasts there are also many secluded coves and smaller beaches were the beauty of the natural world can be appreciated.
